On the Road Again!

I was looking at a genuine Suzuki part horn on eBay. Claiming to be NOS, but it looked as though there was some corrosion around the bolt heads. So maybe 45 years old? In the end it was a massive price and so I had a look on the sites of my "go to" parts dealers and Dean at SuzyTwo had this pattern part listed for a tenner plus postage. The chrome seems quite deep and it is very shiny. So I bought one. I'll fit it when the bike comes back from it's current spa treatment.

Although I probably don't need it... Where have we heard that before?  Well, I remembered that the fuel cap gasket was a little aged and with the tank brimmed I had had a slight leak when on the sidestand. The remedy? Buy a new rubber for the filler cap. I toyed with the entire cap. But as it is out of sight under the flap I decided not to bother and just get the rubber.
