On the Road Again!

The balls rolled a little unkindly for us last night and we have been drawn away at Bournemouth in the 4th Round of the FA Cup. Given the performance last time we were there, this is a worry. Luckily, the "big" clubs seems to have been given easier routes to the 5th Round.

Another sunny day at the Emirates. We had expected a rainy cold day but in the end it was glorious. Unfortunately the game wasn't as good. Arsenal dominated the first half but only had David Luiz' first Arsenal goal to show for it.  Plenty of huff. Little puff in the end.  Second half was Bournemouth on top. Both sides kept on huffing but neither looked like scoring. Pierre Emerick Aubamayang struck a post in the dying seconds. Three points in the bag. Up to third behind Liverpool and Manchester City.

Tonight.  What was once a "banker" or should be. See what team Unai "Dick" Emery puts out tonight.  Hopefully at least one of the creative players!!! And he did. Mesut Özil lined up. Arsenal took the bull by the horns. Completely on top most of the game but one error led to Bournemouth's goal. But it finished. The Arsenal by far the better team for all but 2 minutes of the game when some complacent play resulted in Bournemouth getting their goal, making it 2-1.
