On the Road Again!

Finally we got around to building the second one. Same MO. Build in back garden. Carry complete to front garden. Fill with top soil. From the lessons learned on the last one I bought an electric screwdriver.  When we drilled into the 2x2 upright we drilled deeper to give the wood screw more chance of getting in. Oddly it still took about the same time to build. This time we used 15 25 litre top soil bags and a 40 litre bag of soil enhancer. Still bloody heavy.

Instead of basking in the sun or maybe going for a long ride on my bike, I was building this. Claire aided and assisted. Once done we had to shift it to the front garden, then fill it.  Firstly a liner and then 400kg of top soil and manure. We were a bit short and needed a trip to Homebase to get another 100kg.  Things learned: Not all screwdriver bits are able to cope with being used in an electric drill. Wood is bloody heavy Bags of top soil are bloody heavy 50kg of manure is bloody heavy Once finished, the sense of achievement is a high In a few weeks we get to do it again.
