On the Road Again!

So the film came back from Max Spielmann today.  I had to get out the older laptop as it has a CD/DVD installed to have alook at what came. This is the film that only had 7 exposures taken before it went into "storage".  When I am able to I'll share the magnificence of them, or maybe not. A couple of the 2004 Hyundai Getz we owned and one of the cat! Well, two of the cat, she moved for one picture and blurred it. Of course with digital that would have simply been deleted. Of the pictures I took since the project started some of them have come out pretty well. I have only saved one to the hard drive so far. The IS-10 does a great job of auto focusing. All you really have to do is frame the shot and press the button. With this picture, I was hoping to focus on the Hythe Sound Mirror through some trees and bushes. This was at maximum zoom.  The camera doesn't have much in the way of a focusing ring like the OM10. So it was a bit hit and miss to get the mirror in focus an...

With the OM10 project taking the front of stage this part dropped into the wings .. It was sunny today. About 1°C and it was icy. We avoided the snow that other areas had, but instead had sheet ice. This is often called "black ice" as it can't be seen over the road surface. We slip slid across to the canal and I used up the last few shots on this film with scenic shots up the canal and of the Sound Mirror . As I still haven't heard from Stuart Cameras about the other film, this one is going to Max Spielmann. Packed in a small box that the new film came in from Analogue Wonderland , weighed at 78g. Once again under the 100g first class limit. I decided to check at the post office as it was a little larger than a letter and had to add a bit of extra postage.      The address is right. Maybe this one will come back....
