On the Road Again!

  A pre-season friendly for the  Sid Burvill Trophy. Played between two neighbouring clubs for many years. With Claire being out in the car it's going to be down to the weather. I would normally ride the ride and park up outside the ground, but with the V-Strom off the road I am left with the Kettle. And the forecast isn't good... So I could use my free bus pass and see what that brings!  Scary! The home ground is about 4 miles from home and one bus takes 39 minutes with a longish walk and the two-bus journey takes 55 minutes but lands me right outside the ground.... It's going to be weather dependent!

The new season starts today with the first pre-season game and the first live game for what seems like years. The last game I went to was back in October 20 before the lockdowns came along. Today's opponents are Ramsgate FC from north east Kent.
