MukJunkie Caravan Cleaner

Image
I bought some of this a while ago to clean Molly the Motorhome.  I also used it on Vera Strom last week. As she had plenty of ingrained dirt and chain oil fling off on the back wheel, I used it neat. It's done a really good job. It's supposed to be mixed with water to 1 part MukJunkie to 9 parts water for ordinary dirty vehicles. I used a bit to clean the bird shit off the car as well. Mix into a garden spray bottle (as above) and spray onto the van or car. Leave it a few minutes and rinse off. I tend to use a soft brush designed for car cleaning to work it into the dirt. I usually hose the vehicle first before applying MukJunkie. The van and Vera both spotless.  (The photo added using the Blogger app later as Blogit app failed again to add a photo!)

Molly the Motorhome!

A post simply to see if the Blogit app that I have been using on and off since around 2019 will upload photos.  It did yesterday when I blogged a couple of greyhound photos from my volunteering job. At last. Then when I tried to add a photo to the Bikers Gear Australia blog. It didn't work. So I am now thinking about whether the problem lies with the folder on the phone where the photo is saved that's the problem ... These and the greyhounds are in the "Camera" folder. The jeans in the other thread are the  "Screenshot" folder 📂.

Assen MotoGP 2024

Image
It's a little under three weeks until we set off on the early morning Le Shuttle to France for the roundabout ride to Assen for the MotoGP. When I have been before it's been for the long weekend with racing formerly on Saturday. But tradition has bitten the dust and the main race day is Sunday.  This is possibly down the the newer format copying World Superbikes and British Superbikes by having a premier class "Sprint" race on the Saturday. My trip is ending on the Monday when I ride back to Calais and come home on Irish Ferries. Both Phil and Neill will continue the trip to take in more Dambusters sites and then the German MotoGP the week after. I was never going to do this as there is a trip to Yorkshire the same weekend as the German MotoGP in the motorhome - " Grimm Up North ". I need to be able to get out on the bike before then though!  I gave Vera as wash last week with the MukJunkie stuff that was bought to clean Molly the Motorhome.  It looks to hav...

MukJunkie

Image
After yesterday when we decided to clean the front of the van, just the cab area, we decided today that we would do the other three sides. The cleaner to use this time is MukJunkie. This type designed for caravans and motorhomes. I used a bit at the weekend on the V-Strom and was amazed how clean it came up.   Anyway, it's deployed undiluted from a garden spray can.  I uses one that you pump to get some pressure and then spray away.  It's supposed to be left to do it's job, and whilst that seems to work, agitating with a big car cleaning brush gets those stubborn stains, sorry dirt bits, cleaner. Then hose off. I am very loathed to use a jetwash on a vehicle that's made of lots of panels bolted to a wooden frame and sealant squirted into the joints!  The ordinary garden hose did the job. I even had a quick go at the roof.  Standing on a ladder on the grass is not my idea of fun or safety. So how did it do?  Very good. Would I buy some more? Yes.  ...
