I bought the vinyl version of this back in late 1974.  My former brother in law, Alan, suggested it would be better than some of the stuff we were listening to at the time.

I was already a fan of Santana and so it wasn't that great stretch of the mind to try something a little different. And it is different.

I recently bought it again, this time on the more sterile media of  a CD. It sounds as good as it did then.  

Would anyone believe it that this was recorded 50 years ago?
