Walk along the Canal

Today's dog walk was along the familiar track on the north bank of the Royal Military Canal.

With lockdown we very rarely go anywhere else. Apart from a visit to the physio a fortnight ago when I managed to get into both Waitrose and Sainsbury's supermarkets, life has revolved around the house and the dog walk.

Today I was interested in trees and the blossom that is beginning to show on some of the bushes.

The Burmarsh Road swans were around again.

I took the Sony Cybershot with me today. I have not forgotten my Lockdown Project film cameras, but this is easier to use one handed with a dog lead in the other.

The Lockdown Project will continue once we have a relaxation and we can go further afield. Keeping within a few miles of home is tedious.

Over the years the Military Road has been restored and then in places left to fall into partial disrepair again.

Possibly as out in West Hythe we are the poor relations. In Hythe the paths are properly tarmacked or maintained. Out in the country it doesn't matter....
