Alcossebre Apartment review
RCI sent a questionnaire about our stay and I gave them most of the answers. Then they suggested I write a review.
If only their webpage would let me post!!!
Here it is though. The marvel of copy and paste......
So we called the emergency number and a lad arrived on his bicycle. He tried and couldn't open it. Called his dad who arrived by car. He tried and then went and got some molegrips. Banged it to open it.
Went into apartment. Live cockroaches in bedroom and bathroom. Killed them and disposed of them and already dead corpses outside!
Toilet flush missing the button on top of cistern. It worked but often needed help to stop water running constantly. Reported to Reception on Monday when checked in. Also reported the 'roach problem. Men fixed cistern.
Could also do with cleaning into the corners of the tiled rooms. That's all of them BTW!
The bathroom was a little manky.
Very quiet. Apartment on block 5 overlooks the pool which would be a premium spot in summer. Okay in winter.
This end of Alcossebre completely dead. Nothing at all open. Plenty of restaurants but all closed.
About a mile into town to the first sign of life. There is a Spar supermarket on the "high street" and a Consum further away from the seafront area.
Otherwise a car or maybe e-bike is needed.
Resort very close to the beach and it's a good walk to town or on the boardwalks.
If you have a dog they charge €7 a night. Given that you get cockroaches for free maybe this needs re-evaluating in November and December.
With a little bit of care, the cleaning and general tidy up this place could be really nice.
