Motorhome External Thermal Cab Cover

Before we embark on our next Moho adventure we decided that we need something better for the blackout of the front window when parked up.

The inside ones we have are okay but the little suckers that hold it on the screen and side windows don't adhere too well at times.

So we decided to get an external wraparound type one.

The one we have seen on sites is made to order and currently it's about twelve weeks turnaround. They do have "seconds" on the eBay shop but these aren't much of a saving.

So as an alternative I had a look on Amazon and chose the Marvix version.

It's 7mm thick and thermal. The idea to keep the van warmer in winter and cooler in summer. I can vouch for the heat that comes through the front when driving in sunshine.

The Marvix is a compromise choice as they had them in stock. I bought direct as it was £10 cheaper than Amazon. The reviews on Amazon though are a good point. This cover scores well.

Another reason for this choice was that it comes down further over the bonnet to cover the skuttle (?) where the wipers are. This gets full of leaves and debris when in storage.

Like everything it's a gamble! Review once it arrives and we use it.
