Although a comprehensive destruction of a poor Everton side 5-1 it wasn't enough to qualify for the Champions League.


The losses in April and then again to rivals Spurs last week sealed their fate.

At the beginning of the season to finish 5th would have seemed a stretch.

Onwards...

This road-test was originally published in 1997 on the original SOC Geocities hosted website and transferred over here when Yahoo killed off Geocities. When Suzuki offered to let me have the VZ800 Marauder for a week or two to test, I was very happy to have a 'free' bike for the duration of two big runs to the BMF/ACU National Rally and a Suzuki Owners Club Scotland trip.
