Mildred Devall - 1929 to 2013

In Memorium

Remembering my mother, Mildred, who died last week in hospital at the grand age of 83.  After a fall in her home she didn't recover and passed away in her sleep on 17th January 2013.

She will be missed by all our family; from her brother Frank, sister Linda, son Neill and his partner Catherine, her granddaughters Jennifer and Eleanor, nieces Caroline and Kate, and almost lastly me (eldest son)  and my wife Claire.

Not forgetting other nephews and niece, Michael, Julie and Chris and sister-in-law Yvonne.

I am so sorry for your loss. Losing someone is never easy, especially a parent. We lost Brad's mom on December 1st at the age of 72. Is just so sad to see them go.

Thanks. I toyed with not putting anything up on a blog, but I owed it to her to celebrate her life and publisise our love for her and how much we'll miss her.

This road-test was originally published in 1997 on the original SOC Geocities hosted website and transferred over here when Yahoo killed off Geocities. When Suzuki offered to let me have the VZ800 Marauder for a week or two to test, I was very happy to have a 'free' bike for the duration of two big runs to the BMF/ACU National Rally and a Suzuki Owners Club Scotland trip.
