The trauma of the flights getting changed so dramatically has had a knock on effect.

The need to book an overnight hotel in Toronto, plus a day less at our first resort.

That was the biggest problem that was left. The resort.

Finally the office at fishville.com came back to confirm what I told them that we will arrive later than booked and that they are expecting us on the Sunday instead of Saturday.

Phew.

Next,  to get folding dosh. We'll need C$ as well as US$!  

All that then remains is to bug Thrifty for an American car rather than some bland Japanese creation.
