Luckily reserving seats for us cheap jacks in "Tango" class just the other day, so the mad rush to the check-in to sit together didn't happen. Still we arrived at Terminal 3 more than three hours before checkin.
Check-in was self service and not too painful, and amazingly the security checks were quick as well.
We got some Canadian dosh as we have no real idea what will happen once we land on that side.
And then it was to gate 28 and off into the great blue yonder.
Arrival time in Toronto about 2.40pm local.
And then we arrive. Security and customs are mere few minutes.
Welcome to Canada. Happy to be on holiday until.....
We have two identical bags. Our name is on both baggage straps. They match the numbers on our boarding pass.
Except one isn't ours. It has someone else's stuff in it!! Even a mini-me bag inside the big one.
We go straight back to the airport on the shuttle. Whoever has our luggage hadn't taken it back.
For us it's like 1040pm now and all thoughts of visiting the city are fucked.
Have returned the wrong case and have to wait.
So I have no clothes, no meds, no chargers for the phones or laptop and no cradle for TomTom.
Great start.
