Trover - another resource killed off

Trover has been a good tool for sharing photos of places you have been and also when you are somewhere new, seeing what other people have been sharing.

In a lot of cities I have visited,  opening the app allowed me to see places I might not have been to previously or might have missed.

But.

It looks as though the parent company, Expedia, has decided that free means they need to kill it off.

That's their prerogative.

But disingenuous to the thousands of people that have invested time and emotion into their posts to help others. So killing it off is more than a slap in the face. It's an insult.

As an example until they kill it off for good. Check out https://www.trover.com/d/1IZj7-brno-dragon-brno-czech-republic.  From this post you can see all the pictures taken nearby.

And see the effort people went to and now this is all lost and wasted.

At least now I now to steer clear of Expedia and any of their other holdings.  I just hope that other Trover users follow suit.
